Wantage plans second annual citizen of the year

WANTAGE — Wantage Township Recreation Dept. is seeking nominations for its second annual Citizen of the Year award.

To be eligible one must be a Wantage resident. They should be an inspirational role model and have demonstrated an active interest and involvement in community affairs. This person should somehow contribute to the betterment of our community.

To nominate, go to www.wantagetwp.com and download an Award Nomination Form.

Forms can also be obtained at Wantage Municipal building or by calling 973-875-7192. All nominations must be received by April 22. The winner of the 2014 Citizen of the Year award will be announced on the Wantage Township website by June 1, 2014, and will be recognized at Wantage Day on June 7.

The winnter's name will be added to the plaque on permanent display at the Wantage Municipal Building.
