The Cadets of Hamburg Junior Police Academy recently received training in the use of map and compass from members of Boy Scout Troop 48 of Hamburg. The Junior Police Academy program provides an opportunity for young people to experience aspects of training and careers in law enforcement. Boy Scout Troop 48 has an active outdoor program of hiking and camping based out of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Hamburg.
