May is ‘Water Safety Month'

May has been designated as National Water Safety Month in an effort to highlight the need for public awareness of safe water practices. This designation has been proclaimed as a joint effort of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, the National Recreation and Park Association and the World Waterpark Association, organizations that represent businesses, agencies and associations, including the Northeast Spa and Pool Association, involved in aquatic activities.
