Mierendorf reads to Little Sprouts

The children at Project Self-Sufficiency’s Little Sprouts Early Learning Center recently got a small taste of college when Sussex County Community College President Constance Mierendorf visited them and read several poems and stories about animals as part of the agency’s twice-monthly Celebrity Reader program. “At four years old, these children are verbal, bright and full of hope,” said Mierendorf. “This reading program, combined with this brand new facility, provides a superb environment to lay the groundwork for a child’s future.”
