Modeling workshops offered at Appalachian Hotel

Vernon — The Next Top Model is offering summer modeling workshops for the first time in Sussex County. Under the direction of Annie Connor, a professional modeling and acting instructor, the workshops will be held during July and August at the Appalachian Hotel at Mountain Creek. The workshops are open to 10- to 18-year-olds who want to learn runway modeling, catalog and magazine modeling, performing in TV commercials, fashion styles, and hair and make-up design. Participants will also learn about opportunities to model with reputable agencies in New York City. Summer I workshop: July 14 - 30 Summer II workshop: Aug. 10 - 27 Workshops are held twice each week for three weeks. Each session runs a total of 24 hours — six days, four hours each day — and costs $599, for a breakdown of $25 per hour.
