My taxes at work

I just visited town hall to pay my property taxes. There are people who are pleased to know that my $2,000 quarterly payment will go to pay for 100 percent of the health benefits of some tenured (i.e. job for life) teacher who just completed her spring “break” and is looking forward to her 2 and a half month summer “recess.” One would think that I would at least get a thank-you card from the NJEA teachers union.
