Networking event at Mountain Creek

Vernon — As part of International Networking Week, BNI, a business networking and referral marketing organization, is hosting an informal evening get-together for local business people at the Appalachian Hotel on Route 94 in Vernon on Thursday, Feb. 4 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Attendees will include representatives from several Sussex County chambers of commerce, Rotary Clubs and other organizations as well as trade and professional groups. The $15 per person admission includes a buffet meal. There will be a cash bar, guest speakers and door prizes as well. “This is a great opportunity for local businesses and organizations to get together informally to get a handle on the importance of networking in today’s environment,” said BNI Director Jim Di Zenzo. “There’s no formal program, as such. No sales pitch. It’s more a chance for people to exchange ideas and hopefully pick up a few important ideas to help grow their business.
