Hardyston — Crystal Springs Resort has opened its newest golf course, Cascades 9, which expands the playing experience from 108 holes to 117. Golf course architect Roger Rulewich, of The Golf Group, Inc., was at the helm of the new course’s design — his third at the resort, including the Wild Turkey and Ballyowen Golf Clubs. Measuring 3,627 yards, the course’s design stresses playability and features junior tees to make the course more enjoyable for those new to the game. Players also have the choice to play a straight nine holes or 18 holes by playing Cascades twice or nine holes of Cascades and nine holes of the rigorous Crystal Springs Golf Course located adjacent to the new nine hole. Grand opening guests took part in a nine-hole shotgun event and tours of the property including the adjacent Grand Cascades Lodge, the new Reflections Spa, Biosphere Pool Complex, and 64,000-plus bottle wine cellar. Tee times for Cascades 9 can be booked by calling 973-827-5996 ext. 1 or by visiting www.crystalgolfresort.com/golf.
