Oooh! Aaah!

After patiently waiting through the endless rains of summer, the residents of Ogdensburg finally got their fireworks show Sunday night. Spectators started meeting on the hill beside the school in the gathering dusk to stake out a good viewing spot. The parking lots quickly filled up and latecomers could barely be seen groping their way along Main Street toward the field. The show, originally scheduled for Ogdensburg Day on June 20, lasted about 20 minutes.
