Pass It Along says thank you

On behalf of Pass It Along and the Holidays Around the County committee we want to thank everyone who helped to make the Pass It Along holiday toy shop successful for the seventh year. We want to start by saying a very big thank you to Pastor Diane Koob, Christie and everyone at the Sparta United Methodist Church for giving us a home for the toy shop. Through the generous donations and support of many individuals, families, Girl Scout troops, Boy Scout troops, churches, local schools and businesses, over 1,560 children each received five gifts plus home baked cookies and wrapping paper. We truly appreciate all the hard work that our volunteers did to set up, keep the toy shop running smoothly and take it down at the end; without all of you we could not have been so successful. Thank you to all our nonprofit partners for their constant support. Many thanks to Selective Insurance for the second annual “Build a Bike” competition which resulted in 18 bicycles being built that were given away in a free raffle to families in need. A special thanks to the more than 42 businesses that placed donation boxes or coin collection boxes in support the toy drive. We would also like to thank our good friends at Sutherland Packaging, for once again supplying all the boxes for our toy donations. For helping to store all of our toy donations we wish to thank Anthony Berardi, Homers Restaurant, and Advanced Self-Storage. Without the help of so many people (too many to name individually), we would have been unable to help the many families who were in need during this holiday season. Pass It Along wishes everyone a joyous New Year. Diane Taylor, President, Pass It Along Susan Loyas, Director of Annual Events, Pass It Along
