Only 17 percent of registered voters cast ballots Tuesday. Unofficial results posted by the Sussex County Clerk show the following: Sussex Borough Council Vote for 2: James L. Fransen got 82 votes. Edward J. Meyer received 78 votes. A write-in got 52 votes. Vernon Township Council Vote for 2: Cornelius (Neil) Desmond polled 622 votes. Michael Pier got 969 votes. Harry J. Shortway got 1,111 votes. Sally A. Rinker took in 960 votes. . A write-in took 21 votes. Wantage Committee Vote for 1: Gregory Williams got 364 votes. William Gaechter got 750 votes. A write-in got 12 votes.
