Program for high schoolers offered at college

    Newton — The Center for Prevention & Counseling’s Youth Leadership Institute will offer an introduction to the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens program, at Sussex County Community College, from July 27 to 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., each day. The program is geared to helping teens improve their self-image, achieve their goals, enhance social skills and deal with the challenges teens are faced with each day. Through this program, participants will sample the college experience and work together in team-building exercises. Open to students in grades 9 to 12, this program is offered for an introductory price of $10 a day, which includes breakfast.
