Wantage — Quick Chek will hold a grand opening celebration for its newest location on Route 23 in Wantage, where it will offer customers free coffee during the store’s first 13 days in business, from May 19 to 31. The new 5,464-sq.-ft. store will open to the public Tuesday, May 19 at 5 a.m. following a special Quick Chek Coffee Toast ceremony Monday, May 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. There, local officials, community members and store representatives will gather to grind, brew and pour the very first cup of Quick Chek’s fresh coffee at the new store. Managed by Kahtan Barsbay, Quick Chek’s new Wantage location will include a coffee bar, sub shop, soup bar, bakery items made fresh every day, a no-fee ATM center and 12 gas pumps. And, during its first 30 days of operation — through June 17 — Quick Chek will donate 25 cents to the Wantage Township Volunteer Fire Department for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold. Quick Chek is a privately-owned, family-operated chain of nearly 120 food store locations throughout New Jersey and southern New York. For information, visit www.quick-chek.com.
