Reader doesn't favor Vichiconti

Mary Ellen Vichiconti is running for a place on the Vernon Town Council, again. Last year I was a very big supporter of Ms. Vichiconti, however, this year I am anything but. Ms. Vichiconti has, for as long as I have known her, preached the idea that Vernon needs a code of ethics. That may or may not be true. However, I personally find it hypocritical for the person who sites ethics as one of her main issues to ...treat the sitting Council with that very same lack of respect she would include in her code. In my opinion, a vote for Mary Ellen Vichiconti is a vote for hypocrisy and the very things she claims to oppose in our town government. Michele Danzis Highland Lakes
