Red Cross offers ‘When Help is Delayed' class

    Newton — The American Red Cross is offering a “First Aid - When Help is Delayed” class on June 24, from 7 to 10 p.m. The class is designed for those who spend a lot of time outdoors, such as hikers, bicyclists, scout leaders, and campers. It will educate participants on how to respond to emergencies when Emergency Medical Services (EMS) response is 30 minutes or more away. Jack Card, Sussex County chapter Wilderness First Aid Instructor will present the class. The cost of the class is $30. Pre-Registration and payment for all classes is required.
