Registration Now On for Higher Opportunities for Women' program

Irene Linck, a career center counselor at Project Self-Sufficiency, assists a client with computer training. Project Self-Sufficiency will hold the winter session of its 16-week training program, Higher Opportunities for Women, beginning on Feb. 16. The program is an intensive, pre-employment skills-development program designed to assist women who have been out of the work force or who have been underemployed for a number of years. The comprehensive program prepares participants to seek entry-level office administrative positions. All classes will take place at the agency’s campus , located at 127 Mill St. in Newton.
