Restaurant and baseball team partner on food service for Skyhawks park

    AUGUSTA — The Sussex Skyhawks and the Homestead Restaurant Barbecue company have reached a partnership agreement for food service at Skylands Park. Skyhawks General Manager Ben Wittkowski said, “Providing groups with improved menu options and knowing the service will be exceptional, made this an easy agreement to reach” Picnic packages start at $29.50 per person and include a ticket to the game and a fully catered all-you-can eat buffet in a private tented area at Skylands Park. Menu options will range from hamburgers, wings and brats to lobster, clams and a pig roast. Groups will still be able to book their outing by calling the Skyhawks ticket office and staff members will be able to review the multiple menu options available. Homestead is a three-time winner of the Sussex County Champion of the Grill contest.
