Rinker thanks voters for their support

Thank you Vernon. It is with great pride and gratitude that I thank all of the persons who cast their votes for me in the June 2 Republican primary election in Vernon Township. I could not have come so far without the support of so many friends and family members. I especially want to thank the persons who worked tirelessly to get signatures, register voters, performed numerous daily tasks and informed the Vernon residents of my reasons and qualifications to run for a Council seat. Although I missed the chance to be on the ballot in November for one of the four-year Council seats by just 9 votes, my intent and focus remain the same. I chose to run in the primary because for some time I have been encouraged by many who felt I had an understanding of the issues, the skill to facilitate the solutions and be a leader for a healthier future for Vernon. We have a great town and I want to see Vernon reach its full potential for our residents. As the opportunities present themselves, I will look forward to exercising the options available to me to continue towards that goal. Sally Rinker Vernon
