School scores A' in reading program

Ogdensburg The Ogdensburg Public School District is the winner of the 4th annual Score an “A,” Score a Ticket Reading Program, sponosred by D&H and the Sussex Skyhawks. This past year nearly 11,000 students from 40 local schools participated in the program, which is designed to motivate students to participate in additional classroom activities in order to win tickets to a Sussex Skyhawk’s game, as well as an opportunity to join a pregame ceremony and receive a voucher for a meal. All participants must complete assignments or books designated or approved by their classroom teacher to improve their reading skills.
