Scouts visit council

Brendan Flynn led the group in the Scout oath when Troop 97 of Sussex recently attended the Sussex Borough Council meeting. Brendan gave a report on the troop’s activities and involvement with the community. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouting. Boys who are in the fifth-grade and above can attend the weekly meetings at the Sussex Elks Lodge on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
