Seasonal flu vaccine clinic rescheduled

Stanhope — The Sussex County Department of Environmental and Public Health Services, Office of Public Health Nursing is sponsoring a Seasonal Flu Vaccine Clinic available to residents of Sussex County. This clinic will be held at the Byram Township Municipal Building, 10 Mansfield Drive, Stanhope, on Thursday, Jan. 14, from 3 to 6 p.m. Cash payment is preferred The seasonal flu vaccine and pneumococcal vaccine is free to anyone 65 and older. When attending the clinic, seniors must bring bring their Medicare or Medicaid cards. The tetanus vaccine costs $20 anad is given to people who have not had a tetanus vaccine in 10 years. For those under 65, the seasonal flu vaccine will cost $15 and the pneumococcal vaccine will cost $35. The tetanus vaccine costs $20 and is only given to people who have not had one in 10 years. Registration is required; walk-ins will not be accepted. Call for an appointment or register on-line at www.sussex.nj.us.
