Seufert named deputy mayor

Vernon — The last empty space left behind by former councilman Glenn McLaughlin was filled on June 25, when Valerie Seufert was named deputy mayor. The council opted to take its vote during the public session; when the votes were tallied by Township Clerk Robyn Kline, Seufert was the unanimous choice. She thanked the council for their belief in her abilities.
