Sewing for others

More than 25 area youngsters including Brownies, Girl Scouts, 4H and High Point Regional High School students made 100 items of clothing — shirts, dresses, capri pants — for children in Kenya. The sewing project was held at the Sussex-Wantage Library. Catherine Weiss, a teacher in the Sussex/Wantage school district, will bring the clothing along with school supplies to Africa when she travels there this summer.
