Vernon - Darlene K. Kleeschulte entered a guilty plea to a charge of harassment on June 23 in Vernon Township Municipal Court. She was fined a total of $408 and ordered to submit a letter of apology to the victim, Laura Ryder. The matter originally came before the Vernon Township Police earlier this summer when Ryder told police she had repeatedly received “offensive, alarming and threatening correspondence” from Kleeschulte, according to Ryder’s lawyer John D. Williams. Both women are from Vernon, and the matter began over a girls’ soccer team.
