Sofia joins Highlands State Bank

Sharon Sofia of Vernon is the new branch manager at Highlands State Bank’s headquarters at 310 Route 94 in Vernon. Previously, Sofia was the regional operations manager for Countrywide Bank and branch manager of Bank of America for several years. She will be responsible for the deposit growth and profitability at the Vernon office.
