Argula leads Sparta to win over Vernon

VERNON — Anthony Argula completed 23 passes for 264 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Sparta Spartans to a 35-14 victory over the Vernon Vikings on Friday night.
Dean Gennat hauled in five of those passes for 101 yards and a touchdown for the Spartans. Argula also threw touchdown passes to tyler Trzcinski and Alex Miliken, who also scored on an 8-yard run.
Vernon's Tyler Soltes threw two touchdown passes. The first went to Brandon Lockhart for 5 yars and he completed a 22-yard pass to Luke Venskus.
