Boys soccer team second in division

Luke Anderson collected 26 goals and nine assists to help lead the High Point Regional High School boys soccer team to a 12-5-1 mark this season.

This fall, the Wildcats fashioned an 8-2 mark in the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference Freedom Division, good for a second-place finish behind Hackettstown, which was 9-0-1.

Anderson, a senior, finished with 62 goals and 29 assists for his career.

Other offensive leaders for High Point this season included Andrew Carlson (nine goals, 17 assists), Aiden Carlson (seven goals, five assists), Logan Nunley (three goals, five assists), Parker Okeson (two goals, one assist), Jesse Huelbig (two goals), Aidan Quayle (three assists), Jonas Rivas (one goal, one assist), Andrew Schuman (one goal, one assist), Isaac Schuman (one goal, two assists), Ilia Jijuridze (two assists), Kyle Lamphear (one assist) and Mike Tidona (one assist).

Senior goalie Nohlan Wehrli and sophomore goalie Mason Rosselli anchored a Wildcat defense that posted five shutouts.

Girls soccer

The Wildcats did very well to finish 6-2-2 in the Colonial Division of the NJAC conference, good for a second-place finish to Vernon, which was a perfect 10-0.

High Point, which was 6-9-2 overall this fall, was led by senior forward Leah English, who totaled a team-high 15 goals and five assists.

Other offensive contributors included Dallas Walther (seven goals, one assist), Annabel Arcila (one assist), Kelsey Birchenough (one goal, one assist), Miso Brownbridge (one assist), Kelsey Dippel (one goal, two assists), McKayla Dippel (one assist), Grace Elston (two goals, four assists), Brianna Francois (two goals), Martina Lacatena (two goals, one assist), Delaney Lamphear (one goal, two assists), Larissa Lombardo (one assist), Layla Marrero (one assist), Juliette Matti (two assists), Kenley Pierson (two goals), Claire Sieminski (one assist) and Madison Tallamy (three goals, three assists).

Goalies Natalia Thornton and Isabella Power solidified the Wildcat defense.

Field hockey

Senior midfielder Hanna Gardner totaled eight goals and one assist to lead the Wildcats in scoring this season.

Other scorers for High Point (3-10-1) included Stephanie Gianuzzi (four goals), Ashley Boffa (two goals, one assist), Leah Klimas (one goal, one assist) and Cadence Strehl (one goal, one assist).

Eliana Savopoulos and Strehl posted one shutout apiece for High Point, which finished third in the NJAC Colonial Division with a 2-3-1 mark.

Girls volleyball

The Wildcats, who finished the season 3-14, were led by Mikayla Conklin, Emily Morgan, Rachel Teague, Lindsey VanOrden, Brooke Wagner, Ashlyn Ritson, Kaylee Little and Kerstin Crane.

Girls tennis

The Wildcats finished 2-8 this fall and were led by Maria Kozlowski (first singles), Julia Moskal (second singles), Kayla Aguilar Pinos (third singles), Alexa Hernandez and Teighlor Van Horn (first doubles), and Emma Cooper and Kaitlyn Mahon (second doubles).
