High Point wins Pretty in Pink classic

High Point Regional High School (Wantage Township, N.J.) defeated Newton High School (Newton, N.J.) in girls varsity basketball on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The final score was 49-31. The eighth annual Pretty in Pink Showcase took place at High Point Regional High School. The High Point Wildcats wore black uniforms with pink numbers. The Newton Braves wore pink uniforms with black numbers. The game raised money for cancer research and awareness.

WANTAGE — Margo Peterson scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds, leading High Point to a 49-31 win over Newton in the Pretty in Pink Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 20. . The High Point Wildcats wore black uniforms with pink numbers. The Newton Braves wore pink uniforms with black numbers. The game raised money for cancer research and awareness.
Tyra Wingle scored 14 points for High Point (10-1). Trisha Peterson scored eight points, grabbed four rebounds, and made six assists in the win.
