STOCKHOLM — Pope John XXIII ice hockey team defeated Bergen Catholic, 4-1, on Friday, Jan. 31 at Skylands Ice World.
Pope John's Donny Flynn, Charlie Spetz, Tyler Lapshanski and Dylan Kuipers each scored a goal. Goalie Justin Natiello made 29 saves for the Pope John Lions.
The Bergen Catholic Crusaders' lone goal was by center Joseph Brown. Bergen's goalie Gennaro Anzevino made 31 saves.
