Sign-ups scheduled for mixed horseshoe league

VERNON — The Vernon Horseshoe League offers a spring/summer season of 16 weeks of horseshoe pitching. Any adult, 18 years or older, women or men can form teams of 4-7 players.
Form your team with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers or sign up and be assigned to a team.
The deadline for signups is April 13. There are four pits at Vernon's Veterans Memorial Park on Vernon Crossing Road. Matches are played on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. nights and start around 6 p.m. In September, there will be an end-of-season picnic.
