Winter center hosts Jeff Pier race

The Jeff Pier Memorial race was held on Saturday, Feb. 24, at the National Winter Activity Center.
The Jeff Pier Memorial Race is an annual race held at The Center honoring the life legacy of Jeff Pier. Pier was a mainstay in ski racing, having served as a well-respected coach and program director at the former Hidden Valley Ski club.
Participants across the region including the Elev8/COMPETE racers will compete in their age group, i.e. U12 (10/11 yrs. old) or U14 (12/13 yrs. old) as well as compete for the Jeff Pier Memorial Essay Scholarship: http://njsra.org/news/?tab=scholarships.
