students write Anti-Bullying books

Eighth-graders at Reverend Brown School in Sparta recently completed a project addressing anti-bullying. After the eighth-grade English class read a book called “The Revealers,” students teamed up and wrote four anti-bullying books. They shared the anti-bullying messages by reading their creations to primary grade students. Here, Sydney Thatcher reads one of the books to a second-grade class. The authors of the anti-bullying books are Morgan Carey, Natalia Robayo, Alex Ward, Lara Espinosa, Jessica Scherr, Meaghan McNally, Mary Ilardi and Sydney Thatcher.
