SUSSEX COUNTY PROSECUTOR

March 31 Lindsay M. Mussaro, 23, of Frankford, was arrested on three charges. One count of sexual assault, second-degree, one count of criminal sexual contact, fourth-degree and one count of endangering the welfare of a minor, third-degree. Mussaro is being held on $100,000 bail with no 10 percent option. Between March 21 and March 28, 2009 the defendant committed acts of sexual penetration, and sexual contact with the intimate parts of a minor male. April 3 Samuel A. Epperly, 19, of Wantage, was sentenced to three years probation, 30 days SLAP, 45 days county jail, $4,230 in fines and a six month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Feb. 9 to two counts of third degree possession with the intent to distribute CDS and two counts of fourth degree distribution of marijuana. He admitted that on Nov. 26, 2007 in Hampton Township he possessed 35 grams of marijuana and 26 grams of psilocybin mushrooms with the intent to distribute them. That matter was investigated by New Jersey State Trooper J. Serrano. He also admitted that on Sept. 25 and Oct. 2, 2008 in Wantage and Frankford he distributed small amounts of marijuana to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force and to an undercover detective. John C. Godfrey, 20, of Hopatcong was sentenced to indeterminate five year term in prison as a youthful offender, $2,205 in fines and a six month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Feb. 17 to the second degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public park. He admitted that on Jan. 15, 2008 he distributed one half ounce of cocaine to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force and an undercover officer and that the distribution occurred within 500 feet of Bryant Field in Hopatcong. April 13 Dennis R. Gleason, 51, of Franklin, pled guilty to resisting arrest, a third degree crime. Sentencing is anticipated for May 29. On July 10, 2008 in Franklin, a Department of Corrections investigator attempted to arrest the defendant on a fugitive from justice warrant and Gleason resisted. He was ultimately arrested and returned to the appropriate authorities. April 15 John Poland, 26, of Vernon, was sentenced to three years probation and 180 days to be served in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility. He pled guilty on Feb. 9, 2009, to two counts of third degree forgery, third degree theft and fourth degree possession of a false driver’s license. In Byram Township, on various occasions during 2008, Poland used forged checks at different businesses. He was also found to be in possession of a fake driver’s license. On another occasion he also created the false impression using a check knowing it had no value.
