At a time when many people are facing difficult financial choices, I want to reassure you that the Sussex County Branch of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is committed to providing memberships and services regardless of one’s ability to pay. We believe it is vitally important for children, families and people of all ages to continue to have access to YMCA membership, fellowship and program opportunities. The Sussex County YMCA provides opportunities to build family relationships, reduce stress, improve health and is often times just a place to come for a change of pace. More than ever we feel it is important to reach out and provide assistance to anyone who needs a little help during this difficult time, especially those who many have experienced a loss of income. We know that human nature is such that people may be reluctant to ask for help or assistance. That said, we want to emphasize that the Sussex County YMCA is first and foremost a charitable organization that is committed to helping the community. Inquires pertaining to our member assistance program are treated in a discreet and sensitive manner. Information may be obtained by contacting June Papa at JPapa@metroymcas.org or 973-209-9622. The YMCA Board of Directors and staff are committed to providing the best in facilities, programs and services for all of our members and the community. For nearly 125 years, the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges has been serving our communities and achieving our mission of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. Please - if you need help, let us know. Richard K. Gorab President and CEO Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges
