SussexBank names Gullifer to VP post

Franklin — Michael J. Gullifer has been appointed VP, commercial loan officer for SussexBank. He is based at the bank’s loan department on Route 23 in Franklin. Among his many duties, he will be responsible for loan growth, credit quality and credit performance. With over 28 years of experience in the banking industry, Gullifer most recently served as VP, commercial lending for Lakeland Bank/The Newton Trust Company. Prior to that, he was regional service manager at The Bank of New York, overseeing all operations for 28 branches. He holds an associate’s degree in business administration from the County College of Morris and attended ABA Commercial Lending School. “Mike brings a strong background and many years of experience to our organization. As a member of our lending team, his strengths will be valuable in helping us to continue generating the loan growth we’ve seen thus far,” said Donald L. Kovach, SussexBank’s president and CEO.
