The art of elfing
| 22 Feb 2012 | 10:26

Despite icy roads, coordinator Janeen Torres along with fellow catechists Danielle Durkin and Marty Puzio and their eighth-grade class continued their annual elfing service. They “elfed” many drive-thru patrons at Dunkin Donuts in Vernon by covering the cost of their coffee and doughnuts. The group thereby treated others who would not know who was behind their gift. Free coffee and donuts are always appreciated. On another occasion, the catechists and their students offered a free baby-sitting service at Our Lady of Fatima in Highland Lakes.
