ReRun, Inc. ReRun, a thoroughbred adoption program, recently announced that it has leased a 40-acre farm in New Egypt, which is in central New Jersey. The farm, called ReRun at Reindancer, will house thoroughbred ex-racehorses looking for adoptive homes and will serve as a publicly accessible resource for its community and supporters. Jane Gilbert, ReRun board member said, “We have so many plans for our new facility; educational classes, off-the-track thoroughbred riding and retraining clinics, equine-based psychotherapy, youth outreach activities. We can’t wait to get started.” ReRun at Reindancer will be holding an open house on Saturday, May 23. Visit www.rerun.org or call 732-521-1370 for more information. BARKS (Byram Animal Rescue Kindness Squad) Porter is an adorable, playful, and cuddly cat. He can be shy at first, but given time he comes right around and can be very talkative. Butterball is waiting for her very first home. She can be a little shy, but quickly warms up and loves being petted. Butterball gets along well with other kitties. BARKS will be holding pet adoption days on the following dates between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.: May 30 - Pet Goods, 10 Commerce Boulevard, Roxbury June 6 - Open House at the Byram Pound, Mansfield Drive June 13 - J&G Discount Pet Food, Newton Visit www.barksinc.com or call 973-300-3185 for more information on Butterball and Porter or BARKS’ other upcoming events and adoptable pets. Hippity Hop Rabbit Rescue Moose is an 8-year-old mini lop who is not really mini or lop looking. Moose has no ear control, so his ears tend to stick out. Moose is very strong and would do best in a home without small children. Moose has a close friend named Storm with whom he would love to live. Aren’t two bunny friends always better than one? Storm is an 8-year-old mini lop. She does have ear control, but is not so mini. Storm is a very sweet girl who enjoys hopping and lounging around. She is very gentle for her large size. Since Storm is so big, she often has trouble cleaning her back end and will require regular brushing. Storm would love to go home with her dear friend Moose. For more information on Storm and Moose or Hippity Hop’s other bunnies, visit www.hippityhoprabbitrescue.com or call 908-393-2922. Noah’s Ark Animal Welfare Association Taz is an 8-year-old neutered male kitty who loves attention, playing and being petted. He is current on shots and microchipped and is just waiting for a home. Hercules is a 3-year-old boxer. Don’t let his name intimidate you, he’s really a mush.
