Town will host trip to Stars on Ice

Jefferson Township — Tickets are still available for Saturday, March 28 when the Jefferson Township Recreation Department will host a bus trip to the IZOD Center at the Meadowlands to see the 3 p.m. Smucker’s Stars on Ice production of ”On the EDGE - The Heart of the Champion,” produced by Scott Hamilton. Olympic, world, and national champion skaters performing in this show include Sasha Cohen, Todd Eldredge, Michael Weiss, and the duo of Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto. Tickets are $59 per person for round-trip deluxe motor coach transportation between Jefferson Township and Rutherford, driver gratuity, reserved lower level seating, and a 2 p.m. pre-show warm-up session. The bus will depart at 12:30 p.m. from the municipal building parking lot located at 1033 Weldon Road. In-person reservations will be immediately confirmed with payment at the recreation office at 81 Weldon Road in Lake Hopatcong at Camp Jefferson from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Reservations made by mail with a personal check or money order are subject to availability. A responsible adult must accompany all children under the age of 18.
