Try on jeans, donate to Cancer Society

Warwick, N.Y. — Avanti, a clothing shop in New Milford, N.Y., is participating in a fundraising program along with the Montreal company French Dressing Jeans. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month — October — both are donating $1 to the American Cancer Society for every pair of jeans tried on during the month of October. The company itself has donated nearly $3 million in this promotion so far.
