NEWARK — Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, N.Y., and St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick, N.Y. , have signed long-term contracts that will bring the hospitals into Horizon BCBSNJ’s network of participating hospitals as of June 1. The two hospitals will provide Horizon BCBSNJ members with options for full acute care hospital services, including both maternity and emergency room services, said officials. Recently, Newton Memorial Hospital ceased accepting Horizon BCBSNJ, leaving the company’s hospital network and many Sussex County residents with fewer options for hospital care, Horizon officials said, who felt the addition of Bon Secours and St. Anthony hospitals would provide Sussex County members with new options for hospital services.
