Two Wantage men lead County Freeholders

Parrott, Wirths elected to top two spots for 2010 Newton — The Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders unanimously elected Jeffrey M. Parrott of Wantage as director and Harold J. Wirths, also of Wantage, as deputy director of the Freeholder Board for 2010. Parrott was elected a Freeholder in November 2007, and has served since Jan. 1, 2008. Wirths has been a Freeholder since November 2000, having served as both director and deputy director in past years. The two were elected to their posts for this year at the Freeholders’ New Year’s day reorganization meeting held at the Sussex County Court House. Parrott is the owner and broker of an independent real estate company. Wirths is currently serving as a member of Gov. Chris Christie’s Transition Team. Also at the Freeholder reorganization meeting: Richard A. Zeoli took his oath of office as County Freeholder. He was elected to the board in November, filling the vacancy left by Glen Vetrano, who chose not to seek re-election after having served for almost nine years. Zeoli resides in Byram Township and is the Founder and President of RZC Impact, an executive communications training firm. He is also the author of “The 7 Principles of Public Speaking: Proven Methods of a PR Professional.” The Freeholders generally meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 5 p.m., in the Freeholder Meeting Room, at the Sussex County Administrative Center, One Spring Street, Newton.
