Waterpark donates to ambulance squad

Vernon — Mountain Creek Waterpark has made a $10,000 donation to the Vernon Township Ambulance Squad. This is the single largest private donation the organization receives annually. In 2008 it was allocated to the ambulance squad’s upgrading to high band radios for better communications throughout Vernon Valley. This year’s donation is being directed to much needed upgrades at the ambulance squad headquarters. The waterpark has made a commitment to continue support of the ambulance squad and urges others in the region to help support this and other local volunteer organizations.
