WHERE IN VERNON?

We received many responses to this week’s Where in Wantage photo of the township’s First Aid building on Route 23. Here’s the list of people who got it right: Craig Coykendall, Warren Keesler, russell rome, julie koop, Marisa Gorman and Stan Gardner, a member and past captain of the squad, who wrote: I’m proud to say that I have served with (the squad) for 12 years. We started the Squad in 1992 and have come a long way to get where we are today. The first aid squad started out with a few used ambulances and had them stationed in a few areas of town before we were able to use one bay at the municipal garage and then able to build our building to call home. We now have about 50 very dedicated volunteer members and are still growing strong. It is nice to be recognized as part of the community.
