Women Business Owners group will hold meeting
Andover The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) Sussex-Warren Chapter will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, Oct. 26 at Sheridan’s Lodge, located at 631 Limecrest Road in Andover, from 6 to 10 p.m. NJAWBO is the state’s leading organization addressing the specific interests of women entrepreneurs. This month’s meeting will be a short networking event, followed by dinner and a speaker focusing on how local women-owned businesses can utilize social media to stretch their advertising dollars and reach. Jennifer Hennion, president of Advantage Marketing Communications in Blairstown, will present and will include discussion on LinkedIn, Facebook, Zidster, Twitter and other emerging social media sites. This October meeting will be followed by a breakfast meeting in November that will focus on extending promotional dollars through public relations. “With today’s economic conditions, all businesses naturally want to spend their advertising dollars wisely,” said Hennion.
