Works by Highland Lakes artist on display

Newton — Various mediums of acrylics, mono prints, painted silk and water colors by artist Phylis Barfoot of Highland Lakes will be featured at the Glimpses exhibit at Sussex County Community College, in Building C. On Saturday, Dec. 12, a silent auction of some of her artwork, in addition to donations from various other artists, will benefit Wine To Water, a non-profit organization providing clean drinking water to populations in need, including areas in Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, India, Cambodia, and Peru. Artwork to be auctioned can be previewed on Dec. 11. Auction pieces and new donations can also be previewed as they come in at “Created for a Cause” on Facebook events.
