Young musicians put on a recital for their peers

Hardyston — A group of eight musicians from Sussex County Music Workshop recently performed a mini recital for the children at Great Beginnings Children’s Learning Center on Route 94 in Hardyston. Parents, teachers and members of the administration also enjoyed the performance by seven pianists and one violinist. The student musicians were Gabriella Ellrot, Kyra Morris, Mikhaila Sanchez, Oliver Tipton, Siena Tipton, Grace Whitteaker and Petra Zadroga. Piano teachers Margaret and Edward Korczynski and violin teacher Sasha Korczynski presented their students for this performance, which featured a combination of holiday carols and classical pieces. Sasha and Margaret played duets with some of the students and the young audience participated by shaking jingle bells to the rhythm of the music. As a convenience for busy parents, Great Beginnings offers opportunities for early morning individual and group piano lessons at its facility.
