Wantage Hunter Smith finished first in the Briggs Junior Champ Kart Division at Snydersville (Pa.) Raceway. The season ended Oct. 30. Hunter is 13 and races for Smith Racing. This was his first season racing his #7 go-cart in a competition. He accumulated 3,825 points to earn his title. His parents Deena and Raymond Smith say they’re proud of the dedication, focus and hard work Hunter has put toward his racing. He hopes some day to be a driver racing in NASCAR and he is a die hard fan of Kyle Bush. Hunter had a lot of support from family and friends, who sponsored him, including family friend Ed Prchlik.
