Freedom is the greatest privilege

When we go to the polls to vote on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, we should attempt to vote for those who correspond with our values, who are forward thinkers with novel ideas and high ideals who can think outside of the box. We never want to elect just a “politician”. James Freeman Clarke, a 19th century theologian, was onto something when he said, “A politician thinks of the next election; a statesman thinks of the next generation.” We should always value truth over feeling and truth over emotion.

Free speech is so precious to this nation, since its founding in the Constitution. This protects the right of every American to express their beliefs in public. We should not only cherish our liberties – but stand ready to fight for them, and the strongest weapon anyone has is prayer.

One of the greatest privileges we have in this country is the freedom to vote. We should not, and cannot ever take this for granted. We can’t stand by helplessly as our health and environment is being devalued. Those in power are supposed to represent us, not the other way around. We should never let those who govern become our higher authority. We must vote for those who uphold our freedoms. What we do at the polls will not only impact the present but also future generations.

Protect your rights and freedoms and vote on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 and always remember God is sovereign over all.
