Vernon has fallen! Rossi for mayor is the parachute Vernon desperately needs!!
I have been a resident of Vernon for the past 13 years. I moved to Vernon because of its beauty and, most importantly, its affordability, but this has changed in the past decade.
I have watched Vernon decline so rapidly that the taxpayers of Vernon will now be forced to pay for the sewer system that Harry Shortway and Sally Rinker both agreed to purchase, ignoring the experts who advised against this purchase.
Harry Shortway used taxpayer money for his own agendas, i.e., trails and a pump track to ride on.
Harry voted and supported the yearly tax reassessments during a temporarily inflated market.
We need a change, someone who has not been part of the horrible decisions made by Harry Shortway and Sally Rinker.
We need a candidate who understands the community’s struggles and uses common sense.
This is why I support Anthony Rossi for Vernon mayor.
